Understanding Your Child’s Learning Challenges & Unleashing Their Academic Potential: Why it’s NOT ADHD
THIS IS A FREE TRAINING FOR FAMILIES!
Day in and day out, all day long, our brain is taking in and processing sensory information. Learning how to read and write, as well as the ability to grasp the building blocks to mathematics also hinges on effective and efficient sensory processing combined with executive functioning. Emotional and behavioral regulation, social engagement, as well as the ability to ‘think through’ versus ‘react to’ our problems is also impacted by sensory processing. This workshop will discuss the role of sensory processing and the neuropsychology of learning how they impact day-to-day functioning.
