Trauma Informed Services: Understanding the Effects of Trauma on Development

This class will explore the complex interplay of trauma, the brain and culture and how it affects service provision. Clients who experience complex trauma often present with extreme, unusual behaviors. When we use a “trauma lens” we can begin to see how a client’s behavior might be a “normal reaction to abnormal circumstances.”
