This class explores the several factors that affect our behaviors and the behaviors of the people we work with. The class explains the functions of behaviors and why specific behaviors are used to serve those functions. The group will discuss several of the common deficits that people with developmental disabilities have and how they contribute to problematic behaviors.

About the Instructor:
Jason Hoffrogge, is the training director for Orion Associates, a human resources agency for companies working with people who have disabilities. Jason has 16 years of experience in working with people who have disabilities in residential, vocational, and crisis settings. Jason has also been a part-time firefighter and first responder for the past nine years. |
