Critical Incident Stress Debriefing - CISD

This course is designed to offer the participant the basics and modifications of the “Mitchell Model” for critical incident stress debriefing. Application of these methods to the work place, community, and disaster situations will be presented.

About the Instructor:
Gordon R. Dodge, Ph.D., L.P. has 35 years of experience as clinical, consultative and educational psychologist. His disaster response assignments include: Kosovo, Albania, an earthquake in India, plane crashes, natural disasters in the U.S., Nairobi after the embassy bombings, Oklahoma City, New York after the World Trade Center attack. He has written and lectured on trauma and disaster psychology.
